The Black Heritage Glazed FrenchFold System from CLIMADOOR is a uniquely designed internal room divider door system. This modern and stylish black door design is offered in several opening sizes from 1684 wide through to 2826mm with a central opening access door (or pair of doors), giving the benefits of both internal French Doors, with their central opening, but also the benefit of internal bifold doors allowing the whole space to be opened up.
These Frenchfolding Systems are available in three and four door systems, using 533mm, 573mm, 610mm and 686mm wide solid core internal doors you ensure that installation is made simple with no trimming of doors on site, and a simple installation routine to follow to assemble the doors and frame in the opening.
These doors when fully opened can fold back against the adjacent wall, maximising your opening space. This glazed black interior folding French Door set comes with universal frame, pivots, hinges, brushed stainless steel drop bolts and pre-glazed doors. All you need is a handle and latch!
Please refer to our storage and decorating recommendations before installing the doors.
These sets can be adjusted by 6mm per door leaf on width, and 8mm on height, with trimming to be done equally off both sides of the doors.
If you want a set of beautiful internal heritage style doors that help you change the way you use your home and look amazing while doing it, then our Frenchfold Heritage doors are a fantastic option.
With the distinctive grid pattern and dark colour that you'd expect of steel look doors, our Frenchfold doors bring their own aesthetic appeal to every room they feature in as well.
Questions about Black Heritage Frenchfold Room Divider
Heritage Frenchfold doors bring together the benefits of internal bifold doors and internal French doors with the striking looks of traditional industrial style doors. Like internal French doors, they have a central opening but they also have two folding sidelight doors that allow them to open wide like bifold doors.
Unlike Heritage internal bifold doors, our French folding Heritage doors do not open along a track. They are hinged at the sides and fold flat back against the adjacent wall instead. This makes them a cheaper option than Heritage bifold doors as well as easier to install.
Our stunning range of Heritage style internal doors is designed to echo the look of traditional steel doors. Available in a sleek, minimalist matt black colour, Heritage doors feature large glass panels to let plenty of natural light shine through, with a grid pattern design that harks back to the steel doors and windows typical of large industrial buildings at the turn of the 19th century.
Our expansive range of art deco era steel look doors covers both internal and external doors - with Heritage style French doors, bifold doors and single leaf internal black doors that complement the range perfectly, you’re able to establish a consistent design right the way through your home.
They’re a wonderfully flexible option. As with all folding doors, French folding doors are a perfect choice when you want to open up two rooms and bring them together as one. The added bonus is the functional sidelights that can be fixed in place or can be “unlocked”, allowing you to widen the opening size should you need it.
As with all our steel look internal doors, our black Heritage style doors are particularly suited to art deco or industrial interior design styles. They look fantastic against exposed brick or natural materials like wood - they also contrast nicely with pale colour schemes.
The large glass panels on our Heritage French folding doors also let plenty of natural light flow through your home, even when closed. This means they can help recreate the big, bright and open-plan feel that is synonymous with the industrial look, making them a particularly great choice in homes with a more linear structure.
Of all folding internal doors, bifold doors tend to be the most expensive. This makes Frenchfold doors a great budget-friendly alternative for anyone who wants the bifold aesthetic and function without the price tag.
Frenchfold doors also share many other benefits with bifold doors, including saving space as you can fold them back against a wall and you don’t have to compromise too much space to accommodate the open door. They let in just as much light as glazed bifold doors too.
Like standard internal French doors, French folding doors have drop bolts so that you can arrange just one central opening door if you want it for access. Also, like French doors, you can use drop bolts to hold the doors open with the sidelights shut, if you would like a slightly bigger opening without the whole thing being thrown wide open.
